About this speaker
Connie is fervent about providing women a safe place to tell their stories where comfort is abundant. Her motivation stems from her personal experiences because she longed for a secure place to find answers that would heal her heart, her ruptured marriage in order to save her family. The last thing she needed, yet often experienced while battling so much turmoil after finding out her husband was a sex addict, was more shame. After many painful years, she began to heal from all the years of betrayal as her husband finally found the tools to stay sober and do the recovery work necessary to repair their relationship. Together, they discovered the value of being deeply known by each other and having an intimately connected relationship.
